Penangites are so blessed with clean and cheap water. We pay the cheapest price of water among the states in Malaysia but we also ranked the highest in terms of water consumption. Most of water supplied to us is from Kedah's river. Our own Air Itam and Teluk Bahang dam is not sufficient for domestic water consumption. What happens if the severe drought hit us in future due to global warming phenomenon? Let us start now to save our river and use water wisely.
